A behind-the-scenes look at the tech transforming modern bakeries with precision, speed, and creativity.
The Goal: Precision + Speed
BeeHex's systems were designed to solve real problems: skilled labor shortages and inconsistent decoration in high-volume bakery environments. Our robots take what a human decorator does—write, outline, flood,—and does it faster, more accurately, and without fatigue.

How it works: The Core Components
1. Vision + Sensing
A built-in camera equipped with BeeHex's patented vision software locates the cake or cookie and captures the parameter of each individual shape as well as the topography to account for micro variances.
2. Custom Software
Designs (like “Happy Birthday” or logos) are created through the design software. Operators select from a menu—of their own design creations on the screen.
3. Multi-Extruder Printhead
Whether you need multiple extruders printing simultaneously to expand your throughput or you need to print with multiple colors for intricate detailed designs, BeeHex Automations' equipment can cover both needs.
4. Automated Movement
A robotic gantry system moves smoothly over the product, decorating with pinpoint accuracy and consistent pressure—no shaky hands or off-center writing.

The Workflow
Load a cake or cookies onto the tray
Choose a design or message
Press start
Watch the robot decorate in seconds
The Result
If you need help with quality, consistency and speed, BeeHex delivers solutions and serious labor savings.
